Cyren Call Comments on FCC Inspector General's Report

April 25, 2008 - Today, Cyren Call Communications Corporation commented on the release of the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Inspector General's report pertaining to the auction of the 700 MHz D Block. Following a number of statements in the press and at the conclusion of the auction, the FCC's Office of Inspector General (OIG) opened an investigation to determine the truth surrounding certain accusations.

Cyren Call Sets Record Straight on False Accusations

April 3, 2008 - Today, Cyren Call Communications Corporation (Cyren Call) commented on accusations in both the press and the blogosphere attributed to unidentified sources regarding its activities prior to the start of the 700 MHz auction. At the request of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Cyren Call observed the FCC's anti- collusion rules, lifted late today, that had prevented Cyren Call from addressing these false accusations earlier.

Cyren Call Announces Team to Assist Public Safety

October 11, 2007 - Last week, the Public Safety Spectrum Trust Corporation (PSST) announced the appointment of Cyren Call Communications Corporation as its advisor following an open competition. Cyren Call, representing the interests of the PSST, has now begun conversations with parties potentially interested in bidding for the upper 700 MHz D Block license to partner with Public Safety in the creation of a nationwide, wireless broadband network.

Cyren Call Welcomes Selection as Public Safety Advisor

October 5, 2007 - Today, the Public Safety Spectrum Trust Corporation (PSST) announced the appointment of Cyren Call Communications Corporation as its advisor following an open competition. As a result of the PSST's decision, Cyren Call will serve as the primary liaison between the PSST and the commercial sector, including all parties interested in potentially bidding for the upper 700 MHz D Block license to partner with Public Safety in the creation of a nationwide, wireless broadband network.

Cyren Applauds FCC's Decision on 700 MHz Auction

With the FCC's decision announced at the open meeting on July 31, one chapter closes and a new one begins regarding the creation of a nationwide wireless broadband network for our nation's first responders. Cyren Call entered the national conversation on this matter more than a year ago and the FCC's action represents the most significant step forward in providing the critical communications tools desperately needed by public safety. We applaud the FCC's leadership on this issue and look forward to reviewing additional details in the Report & Order on this rulemaking.

Competition for E Block License Benefits Public Safety and Public Interest

Mandated Open Access Best Proposed for Other 700 MHz Spectrum

Cyren Call today expressed strong support for an open, competitive bidding process for the E block license for the pending 700 MHz auction that puts public safety at the head of the table. It is expected that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) could make available at auction an E block license of at least 10 MHz of spectrum. The commercial E block could then be combined with additional first responder spectrum assets to facilitate the creation of a nationwide broadband network designed to meet public safety's requirements following the successful negotiation of a public-private partnership.
